What does the "line of business" describe?
Can you convince your users to enter the information at the Document Header Reference or Text?
They can even describe at the line item text if necessary.
My thoughts are: Even if you go through lengths to customize a field for them to enter "line of business", there might not be any standard reports to pull out data for this customized field readily. So what is the purpose of entering data you cannot see in a report? Do you have to customize another report for this customized field?
