SAP Installation

 

 

  1. Assingnment of IP address to the host name.
  • Ø Start->Run->Type drivers and click on OK.
  • Ø Expand etc folder
  • Ø Open host fille with notepad
  • Ø Enter IP address 192.168.0.1 Server Name
  • Ø Save and Quit the file.
  • Ø Open Service file with notepad
  • Ø Go to end of file
  • Ø Enter  SapmsPRD (PRD is user define name)
  • Ø Port number 3600/tcp (standard)
  • Sapgw00 (central instance number)
  • Ø PortNumber 3300/tcp
  • Ø Save and Quit the file.
  1. Configuration of virtual Memory
  • Ø Right click on my computer
  • Ø Select Advanced tab
    • Click on Settings (Performance)
      • § Advance tab
        • Click on change
    • Select the installation drive
  • Ø Choose custom size
  • Ø Enter initial size 4092
  • Ø Maximum size 16092
  • Ø Click on set
  • Ø Click OK Ok Ok.
  1. Configuration of loop back adapter
  • Ø Start->Setting->Control->Double Click add Hardward->Next->Choose Yes Click on Next->Go to end of the window and add new hardware device->Next
  • Ø Choose 2nd option(Install …………)
  • Ø Next
  • Ø Select Network Adapter->Next->Selectthe Microsoft(Left side Window)->Microsoft loopback adepter->Next->Next->Finish.

 

  1. Assignment of IP address to the loop back adpter
  • Ø Right click on my network place
  • Ø Properties
  • Ø Right click on loopback adepter
  • Ø Click on properties
  • Ø Select internet protocol
  • Ø Click on properties
  • Ø Use the following IP
  • Ø 192.168.0.1 (Same IP address Server)
  • Ø Click on Ok.
  • Ø Now select file and printer sharing
  • Ø Properties
  • Ø Choose last option
  • Ø Maximize data throught………….
  • Ø Close.
  1. Configuration J2sdk1.4.2_17_X64(JDK)
  • Ø Go to dump folder
  • Ø Expand Util folder
  • Ø Double click on j2sk exe file
  • Ø Choose the 1 accept the terms
  • Ø Click Next
  • Ø Development tool
  • Ø Next
  • Ø Finish

 

  1. Setting environment variable
  • Ø Computer->Right click->properties->Environment->Nmew->path
  • Ø Variable Name: JAVA_HOME
  • Ø Variable Value: JAVA Home Dir
  • Ø OK.
  • Ø Under System variable
  • Ø Select path->Edit->End of the path :path\bin-OK-OK

Installation of Oracle database software

  • Ø Go to dump folder
  • Ø Expand oracle 10.2 folder
  • Ø Expand NT folder
  • Ø ADM64 folder
  • Ø Double click on sapserver.cmd
  • Ø Entert the installation drive
  • Ø E:
  • Ø PRD
  • Ø Oracle universal installer become active .
  • Ø Click on install
  • Ø Exit.

Installation of Oracle Patch

  • Ø To install oracle patch then we need to stop the oracle service using below step.
  • Ø Start-> Run -> Enter Services.msc
  • Ø Select any one service press O is Oracle
  • Ø Click on Stop.

 

Now go to Dump folder

  • Ø Expand oracle path folder->Expand NT folder ->AMD64->Expand Install folder double click on setup.exe file

 

  • Ø Click on Next
  • Ø Change the path using the downward arrow Mark

 

  • E:\oracle\PRD\102

 

  • Ø Click on Next.
  • Ø Click on install.
  • Ø Once installation of oracle patches successful. Click on Exit.
  • Ø Click on Yes.

Restart the System to install the central instance.

Installation of ECC6.0 central instance

 

  • Ø Go to dump folder.
  • Ø Expand installation Master
  • Ø Expand IM_Windows_X86_64
  • Ø Sapinst.exe
  • Ø Expand SAP ERP 6.0 support release 3
  • Ø Expand SAP System
  • Ø Expand Oracle
  • Ø Expand central System

Double click on central System

 

  • Ø Choose typical->click on Next
  • Ø When system prompt to log off click on OK
  • Ø Now logon to the sytem
  • Ø =>choose continue with old option
  • Ø Click Next
  • Ø Select ECC from the top window and AS Java, AS ABAP from the bottom window
  • Ø Click on Next
  • Ø When system prompts for java components
  • Ø Click on browser
  • Ø Expand dump drive
  • Ø Select Jvacomp
  • Ø Click on ok->Click on Next
  • Ø Now provide JCE policy file
  • Ø Click on Net
  • Ø Enter name of the SAP systemas PRD
  • Ø Click on NEXT
  • Ø Enter password and Click Next
  • Ø Enter data SID as PRD Click on Next
  • Ø Provide export Click on Next
  • Ø Provide kernel and oracle client click on Next
  • Ø Choose configuration a local SLD ->Click Next
  • Ø Enter name of the hostname of SAP server-Next

 

In the summary Screen

  • Ø Select oracle database system and select
  • Ø 2*Ram+-=No parallel Jobs
  • Ø 2*4+-=9 or 7 parallel Jobs
  • Ø Click on Revise
  • Ø Change the drive to installation drive
  • Ø Click on Next
  • Ø Change the no of parallel jobs as ->click on Next Click on Next at SMD(Solution Manager Diagnosis)
  • Ø Click on Next start to installation
  • Ø Enter solution Manager Key
  • Ø 11DEAE6C9E
  • Ø Click on Next
  • Ø Once installation SAP completed Click on OK.
  • Ø Deployment of java components
